When I dipped my toes into the Palm Beach water last year, literally and figuratively, I wasn’t sure what would happen. Would I love it? Would I hate it? Would I feel inspired to go out and meet new people, go to new places and try new things or would I adopt a bunch of cats and hole up watching Netflix?
I knew that I was a water baby who would love being near the water, but I also discovered that I really liked being in a small community. I loved meeting so many new people, liked having a more “pedestrian” way of life that allowed me to walk to the places I frequented, and my only thing I could ever find to mockingly complain about was getting caught by the bridge and the train in the same day.
I have yet to met a space that I think can’t be made better and I love a creative challenge. Call it the “Waffle House Effect” but I am a “scatter cover and cover” girl and I like living in spaces I feel good in. I also don’t want to spend a lot of time- or money- getting them that way. The perfect opportunity popped up, literally just across the street from my former condominium, and with double the square footage, another bedroom and bathroom, a wrap around patio plus a great rooftop terrace, I was ready to do the redo!
Meet Palm Beach Redo Numéro Deux and I am excited to share the process, progress and soon to be pretty with you! Over the next few months I will invite you into my crazy creatively crowded little head and into my new little getaway as I transform it into a little jewel box gem - and share the way a designer really does it and how you can too!
