I was thrilled to be invited to design tablescapes for the 50th Annual Eufaula Pilgrimmage held at the beginning of April in Alabama. This renowned tour of homes is put on by the Eufaula Heritage Association, which was formed in 1965 to prevent the loss and destruction of the town's historic treasures.
My creative process began in collaboration with wonderful Eufaula merchants who graciously provided their wares for the tables - inspiring me with their beautiful selections of traditional china, elegant crystal and coin silver. The allure of these classic patterns is eternal - but I wanted to find a way to transform them for the modern table.
I immediately reached out to my friends at SFERRA whose diverse product range can transform your home from bed to bath. I am obsessed with their Festival Line of incredible hemstitched linens in saturated color ways that inspire me with the endless possibilities for their use. They are produced in a multitude of sizes - one can even purchase the fabric by the yard - for almost any tablescape you can dream up. I was delighted to see the colors pop and herald spring against that lush green landscape.
