When it comes to my style, Sister Parish has always been one of the most influential designers I admire. She took the English Country House style and developed her own look through her utilization of color, patchwork, baskets, various needlepoint rugs and a combination of mixing English and French furniture. Through her styling and arrangement of all these different furnishings, her thoughtful taste became a new defined look all of its own. Sister Parish’s look included a mixture of warm tones and busy patterns all put together in an artful yet aesthetically pleasing manner.

Thanks to Sister Parish Design for the cute stationary!!
Here is a look we've thrown together inspired by Sister Parish herself!
Sister loved her floral! I would change the curtain rod to something more modern like a simple painted rod to match the room or a dull brass return to the wall rod. And a little trick to get maximum style and stretch a budget is to double up the curtains so they have a more luxurious stack!
Our handmade artisan concrete “wicker” basket planter would add a little Sister Parish style into your life! Sister Parish was known for her love of the humble basket for plants within the rooms she designed so you can’t go wrong adding one of these to your room!
