Gracious Living™ with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Decorators' Show House and Gardens

This year's Atlanta Symphony Decorators’ Show House & Gardens was the sunny yellow “Château Soleil,” a French-style estate designed in 1998 by architectural designer William T. Baker, and Rollins Ingram excitedly tackled the mission of transforming the Hers Master Bath and Dressing Area into a glamorous showcase of femininity with a classic yet bold color scheme of blue and white while mixing traditional with modern elements.  Our hope is that we inspired others to create spaces for themselves that are comfortable and livable with a dash of flair and whimsy.   None of this would have been possible without the contributions and sponsorships of so many companies that believed in us -- with much gratitude and humility, I'm so honored to share our vision of this wonderfully delightful space with you!

A woman’s bath and dressing room should be a retreat for the mind and body. Our fantasy escape is completely adorned with blue and white Thibaut textiles and Samuel & Sons trim along with The Shade Store wooden shades, completing the wall coverings and window dressings.

circa LIGHTING fixtures add an essential modern and whimsical touch made a little more feminine with Edgar Reeves silk shades, and the beautiful Bungalow Classic mirrors bring a fresh but refined look.  The fabulous ottoman, French and slipper chairs and screen (in dressing area) give an added dimension of lounge courtesy of talented Westside Story.

ASO Kohler sink

The Kohler elements – that incredible vibracoustic tub! - add an essential zen and spa-like dimension to the space. Buckhead Entertainment provided the audiovisual, tying the television to the tub so you can feel what you are watching while you are bathing!  And this Kohler sink is absolutely divine!

The vanities are dressed to the nines thanks to Jane Marsden Antiques who provided the delicate Chinese export blue and white porcelains throughout the space, Bungalow Classic’s essential and unique trays and boxes, Beverly Bremer Silver Shop offering the very finest in shiny sterling silver elements, and Laura Mercier – care of Saks Fifth Avenue Atlanta - who can lift both our bodies and our baths with these fabulous beauty products.

The finishing touch on the bath are the plush SFERRA and Number Four Eleven towels and cashmere robe to wrap her in luxury.

Step into the closet and you may never leave! The plush velvet lounger provided by Taylor Burke Home beckons a nap while you contemplate which of the fabulous Saks Fifth Avenue confections you will don. The shell chest courtesy of Currey & Company is the perfect feminine touch adorned with an elegant tray to base the bar under an important mirror from Bungalow Classic – which match the pair in the bath. Speaking of bar: you simply must try the Blanc de Bleu courtesy of Bronco Wine. Ralph Lauren Home crystal shaker and vase along with SFERRA embroidered cocktail napkins are the finishing touches of the bar vignette. Throughout the space you are treated to the vision of extraordinary John Matthew Moore’s artistic talent in his many blue and white watercolors.  And what is a space without the proper pet accouterments -- absolutely love Indigo Home on Etsy!
