My “go to girl” for making things pretty is the lovely and talented Gina Dunlap Emmet.  Whether it’s wedding invitations, holiday cards, birth announcements or stationery, she can create custom paper pieces using the art of calligraphy. At times I might do the invitation written entirely in calligraphy, all swirly and let that be the focus. Other times, the calligraphy might be incorporated into the motif of the design. Gina has a flare and a love for the pointed pen!  She can elevate envelopes and design paper products ranging from highly classical and formal to very whimsical and fun - depending on the client's need.

Is this not gorgeous? This color of taupe has been very popular with brides in the last year. She designed the cipher printed on the back flap of the bride’s envelopes and the bride carried the cipher monogram throughout her wedding invitation suite.

This Rehearsal Dinner invitation is written in custom calligraphy and turned on its side to fit the beautiful handmade deckled edge paper. With the bright green ink for springtime, it is sure to catch the eye of the guest who opens it. It looks like a party I'd like to attend!

This baby shower invitation is a great example of how only bits and pieces of calligraphy are incorporated with type to come together to create a darling invitation.
