I have always been a huge fanatic for gingerbread houses and all things holiday décor. My mom surprised me recently with a gingerbread replica of my new house. I think I exclaimed “oh my gosh wow” at least a hundred times. This incredibly precise replica put me in complete awe. Not only is the smell of it is delicious, the detailing is meticulous and beautiful. As an interior designer, details are essential and I strive to create beautiful spaces for all to enjoy. The hardest part is trying to not take a bite after continuously smelling the wafting scents of icing and gingerbread throughout my home. What keeps me from not devouring it is knowing that it will make both a meaningful and elaborate decoration that will take center stage for years to come. Did I mention it has lights?
Special thanks to my mom and the oh so very talented Jennifer Mooney at The Sugar Bowl Bakery. Be sure to follow THE SUGAR BOWL on Facebook to see all her wonderful creations.
