The following excerpt is from the article “NOW ATLANTA” in The Atlantan’s October issue.

As an author, interior designer, mother and social media maven, Danielle Rollins is a modern-day Renaissance woman. And now she can add one more hyphen to her resume: fashion designer. The prolific entertainer and Instagrammer (@danielledrollins) debuted her first eponymous collection of hostess-inspired pieces earlier this year that adhere to her relaxed yet elegant sense of style, and her second collection for fall follows suit. There’s the Dorothy hostess dress ($1,200) appropriately named after Dorothy Draper; the Lilly jacket, named for Palm Beach, Fla., powerhouse Lilly Pulitzer ($1,800); and the versatile Elsa top ($420) and Liberty print skirt ($1,100), named after professional hostess Elsa Maxwell. Rollins has been spotted everywhere from Buckhead to Newport, R.I., in her creations, and if Instagram is any indicator (and it should be, to the tune of her over 35,000 followers), she’s got a bevy of beauties already as fans. Her social media also offers sneak peeks at her upcoming collections, including more shots from her fall lookbook with friend Keisha Noel – did someone say “preorder?” – Lauren Finney
