I comfortably speak Spanish.

What is the one thing in life you cannot live without?

Past or present, who has most influenced your direction in life?

My family.

Who would you most like to meet?

Deepak Chopra.

What inspires your creativity?

I am inspired by nature and the beautiful wonder in the formation of mountains, rocks and natural stones. Most recently I have been inspired by the architecture and skyscrapers. I’m inspired most when I travel to exotic places.

What is your favorite medium for design?

My favorite Medium to craft is sterling silver. I love the versatility in silver. You can enjoy pieces that have shiny luster and or oxidize them to have a flatter look that has edge.

How would you describe your personal style?

My style changes with my mood. At times I feel very traditional and enjoy classic lines and other times I feel very edgy and enjoy more of a glam rock look.

What is your most prized possession?

A piece of art by a Mexican artist that I absolutely love.

What do you like most about your job?

What I like most about my jewelry line is I enjoy making women feel beautiful! It’s so wonderful to go to a restaurant for dinner and see ladies across the room wearing my pieces! That is an amazing feeling!

What’s in the future for you?

I am extremely excited that I have a trunk show at Neiman Marcus Atlanta on March 4th and 5th.

What advice would you give someone wanting to become a jewelry designer?

Don’t be intimidated by the number of designers. There is room for all of us!

What lessons have you learned along your journey as a jewelry designer?

I have learned so many lessons and continue to learn something everyday!  The best lesson is to keep your line clean and concise and don’t become too fragmented.

Do you have an artist or artists who you admire and why?

I have a few style icons… Daphne McGinnis, Beyoncé and Charlize Theron.
